Acting~ My Dream

I am so, so sorry for my lack of posting. I have been working on an all new URL and name for my blog, and with finishing school, it has been a wreck! Anyway, I have also been working on a very, very excting project, or, erm, I honestly don't know what to call it  ;)

From a young age, my dream has always been to be involved in performing arts. I used to love to sing more than anything else, now, to my surprise, acting has furthered my interest. I went and tried out for a part in the musical "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White," and I got one of the dwarves, an animal (a ladybug), and a villager! I was so excited when I got the results. Now, the musical is almost over, one of our four performances is tonight, number three. I am very excited, like, very  :)

And there you have it! Our pictures. I am the second one, the girl with the teal blue hat. That was me and my fellow actors and actresses playing the dwarves. I also have individual pictures, click "next" and keep going through them for about 20 pictures, then you will see me- the girl in the teal blue hat and vest  :) I look fat in my pictures, and my facial expressions are way weird. I accidentally smiled with my mouth open, and that makes me look weird. My animal pictures are there too. Just above the "next" button, there is something that says "Drama- Spring 2011." Click on that and it will bring you back to all of them. Scroll down until you see an angel. After the angel pictures, there is one with two guys (the devil and the mirror that isn't supposed to look like a mirror), and the one right after that is one with a clump of cute kids. Click on it! PLEASE! :) Right beside the girl in the blue dress (Snow White) is a girl in purple with a frilly thing on her head, underneath her is me. I really enjoyed these pictures. 

The play is awesome. I will try to upload some new pictures soon.

Acting is awesome. But, maybe that is just me  :)

Sunday Blessings~

Yes, you may all be thinking that I am copying Lizzy Rose and doing a full on- Sunday Blessing- with a verse and all that jazz, but I'm not. Actually, this is a rather sad post for me to write...

Thursday night, my great-grandfather passed away. And he was always my Sunday blessing, so now, at his funeral (which occurred yesterday, Sunday), I got to bless him, and cry over him, with all my family, my many, many (seventeen, to be exact) cousins, and a whole lot of adults, let's just say Sunday was a satisfying day.

I'm Back! With A Character Study!

Hi, guys! Sorry for not posting in, well, a long time! You know how it goes when you get grounded from the computer, you don't have time to let anyone know, so yeah, sorry for that  ;)

Anyway, I got this awesome idea from my dearest friend, Bree, and I really wanted to do it. However, you should know this is NOT for my wanna-be debut novel- Friends, Far Away, and an Emerald Orb, it is for a school project I am working on.
In my creative writing class we have to write a novel, yup, a novel, in one semester. I am having fun with it, and guess what, I am considering that I may actually try to get it published! I have already written the first... um, twenty-two pages, precise, and forward, and it has been a blast!

~We He Stay Strong, Or Learn To Let Go?~

…In Chiluli, We Find Thomas- a little boy who made a big impact…

In Chiluli, a small town in the middle of, well, nowhere, we find a little boy named Thomas Michael Daily.

  While Thomas battles one of the hardest situations anyone can face at the tender age of eleven, he finds time, love, and happiness for others. One day, he writes a note. He scribbles a little address on it, not knowing where it will be going, and sends it in the mail that very same day. 

The next day, he receives a letter from a little girl, his same age, that will change his life forever. 

Thomas finds himself in a bind when his circumstances suddenly become significantly worse, and he find himself in a battle for life. Will he be able to stay strong for his new found friend, or will he have to learn to let go in the process of doing good?

Thomas Michael Daily

 Thomas is an eleven year old boy with a big heart. At his young age, he reaches out a little girl, his same age, with the same situation as himself, and helps her threw by a simple, "It will be okay." whenever she needs him too.When his life is going crazy with his life-threatening problem, he makes time for others, and find a way to do good even when his life seems like its ending.

Bailee-Kate Madison Martin

 Bailee is a sweet, loving, gorgeous girl with a big imagination and a love for adventure, just as her sisters.  However, at the mere age of ten she is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness that will change her life forever. Then, she meets her best friend threw a mere letter, at the tender age of eleven. Even when life is up and down, all over the place, she is able to reach out to her best friend even when things are at the most difficult point.

Kate Daily

 Kate Daily is Thomas' loving older sister who only wants the best for Thomas. She has a big smile, and an even bigger heart when she finds out Thomas isn't well. Her passion is for art and fashion.

Jonny Mae and Belle Anna Martin

 Twins, Jonny Mae and Belle Anna are the sweet hearted sisters of Bailee. They enjoy adventures and can sometime be a little pesky at times, who isn't at the little age of seven. but Bailee will always love them, not matter what. 

Coconut 

 Coconut is the ever so special gift Thomas receives from his fellow friend. He is always there for Thomas and is his doorway to talking with God.

Ahhh, I don't know! Probably outgoing- but in a sweet, fun way. And since I can only use one word, it would depend on the actual tone of voice they had while saying outgoing....  ;)

I have two.... 1. Olivia from Oh! Horse Feathers because she posts so often, about awesome stuff- like fashion, books, hmmm.... everything  :) 2. Bleah Briann from with Love & Kisses, because well, she is just awesome! She posts about everything I adore from music, to friends, to family!

What is your comfort food/drink?
My best friend, Becca's, mom's morning chocolate chip muffins! mnnmmmm

I really, really like the Gummy Bear Song  :) and I love cold showers, except when I'm sick.

Hah, oh yes! So many things... like skydiving, for example. Or backpacking around Europe. Living in Russia for a while. The list goes on.

Movies? Um... well, I really like Romantic Comedy Drama Movies- best combination  :)

I really enjoy my devotionals, but as far a "fat book" type, fictional. I really, really love Narnia!

Anything really.... except Blues and Country  :)

I was going to say friends... but then I realized that a weakness makes you do wrong things- and my friends DO NOT, in fact, they encourage me. So, ummm.... I really don't know.

I can curve my tounge to make it look like a waffle ice-cream cone  :) kinda... I can't explain it.

Don't have one.... man, I have always wanted to say that!

When I was in 3rd grade I won the History Bowl- but that doesn't really count.

I really like looking at birds- but as far as them flying over you and pooping on you, that's enough  :P
So... I like hedgehogs.... and Bushbabies  :)

So, I know of these bloggers, the best followers in the world. You know why? Because they helped me up, once again, when I fell...

Thank you followers! I owe you all an apology- a big one. I am sorry for the whole last post.... I wasn't thinking. But, I know what you are thinking- "What does the title have to do with apologies.." Well, it doesn't have anything at all to do with it- I am not intending for this post to be all about my apology... so here is the real post:

How many of you know what it is like to have struggles with your parents? MEEEE! In fact, I just had one last night, with my mom. It always has to be the mom doesn't it? The one who birthed you, stayed home with you while your dad worked to feed you, the one who clothed you, bathed you, your all around everyday hero. 

I felt pretty bad after I fought with her. It was around 10pm when I did so. She came up to my room at about 11 and talked to me about it. It wasn't a bad talk, it was a gentle, reminder kinda talk. Yanno what I mean? ;)

I discovered this new guy singer and actor, his name is Luke Benward, and he looks like a miniature Justin Bieber, he even sounds like one. Now, that is not at all the reason why I like him now- it is because he is almost exactly like Justin, yet, all he sings about is healthy, Christian subjects, such as parents, God, helping people, etcetera.  

He wrote and recorded this song called, "Everyday Hero." and it is talking about him and his parents. He is saying that even though he doesn't need them as much as he used to for things like getting dressed, walking to school, etc., he still loves them and needs them to be there in his life for him.
It's on the bottom of this blog, most likely playing this moment, if you want to actually listen to it all, start it over, and listen. Trust me, you will walk away changed  :)

please excuss my harshness

Okay, so, hence the title, "please excuse my harshness," but, to be honest, I am getting tired and sick of some of you saying that some people don't deserve the credit that they really do work hard to earn, or that they are bad at what they do. Or, because they don't put a certain word in a song it means that they are a so-called, "fake." Okay, most of you know who I am talking about by now. That's right... the one that some of you hate... but, I just so happen to love, and I am absolutely without a doubt proud of it.


What? So it has now become like, "popular," or, "cool," to say you hate by dear brother Justin (Justin Bieber) because he used to sound somewhat "girly." HE DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A GIRL! Common.... he is a boy... and he is a very, very talented boy at that matter! Think a minute... who do you know that is a young 16 year old, that had a record deal, is the most popular teenager in the entire world, that can dance like a... never mind, I don't have the right word... anyway, he can dance really well, and can sing AMAZINGLY, like no one I have ever heard. Ya.... no one. I thought so. 


I did a post awhile back about him too. And it really is true... he is just like you and me. He had a passion, he followed it, and look where he is today! He has done through hard times, his parents divorced when he was really little and he even broke his leg once, and his ankle another time. That's right... he is such a trooper. He broke his ankle in a concert, and he kept on going. He tripped and he limped through the rest of the concert, then was rushed to the hospital right after. Then the other time he was dancing on a coffee table in his house with Usher being boys, and he fell off and broke his ankle.


So.... I don't really care if all of you hate me now... I know one of you does... 
Yeah.... you absolutely can judge! I don't care!!!!!


PS: once again... please excuse my harshness! but I am SICK AND TIRED OF IT! So please... (excuse my language!) shut up! Just do it!

It's sad to think that some people think what the non-Christian, the non-Christian punk, and the teacher believe Valentine's Day is all about. 

Valentine's Day is all about sharing the love of Jesus with others, as many of you are doing on your blogs today. God sent his son, Jesus, his one and only son, down here, to romance a world that is torn all apart. And people hated him. They spit on Him, called Him names, and nailed Him to a cross to die, they even broke His wrists and ankles, and He did it all for us. He had never sinned, but they killed Him because they simply hated Him. He didn't do any wrong, but He was willing to die for us. That is the most unfathomable story of love the world will ever know. No matter how many times we sin, He will never leave us and He will always love us. 

This song illustrates what I am trying to say, and it is the most touching song I have ever known.

An Enchanting Story

Have you ever watched a movie, read a book, or listened to a song, and it just- did something. You could never really explain it, or, for that matter, comprehend it, you just knew that it moved you in some way that was unimaginable.

I have, there was song, a movie, and a book (actually a series) that moved me in that way, but I will only make quick mention of the song and the series, because the main reason for this post was to talk a little bit o' 'bout my all time favorite movie. (oh! and the song is Beloved by Tenth Avenue North, and the series is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis)

Before I introduce the movie, I would like to state a couple of touching quotes that I will forever remember from the movie:

The First Knight is a movie full of enchantment and an enchanted love, and it inspired me to be a better person. 

Whether or not your favorite character is King Authur, Queen Guinevere, Lancelot, Malagant (and I will feel so dreadfully sorry for you if heSir Agravaine  is your favorite), or  Sir Agravaine, the enchanting story of love will draw you in from the very beginning.

As Bleah Briann once said in a post about Carrie Underwood vs. Taylor Swift... this is my blog... my opinion.... so please, feel free to dissagree... but my opinions are my opinions.... and I definantly know some people who will disagree completely... and to be honest.... I don't really care  :)

well... when my mind has been mixed...


Lately, my dear friend (not just in the blogging world... she and her sister, Elizabeth, started me on this blogging journey...), Bree, and Ara, have been re-writing their books. Hearing this caused me to think a little about the plot and story line of mine... and now... well, my mind has been mixed, and mixed and mixed.  I am sure you all know what this means...

I am officially re-writing my novel, Friends, Far Away, and an Emerald Orb. 

Shocker... I know. Especially to Bree and Elizabeth... who have read the first draft of my book and know what the story line and the flow is...

No one can stop me! Not even my dearest friends... not even my parents... not even my brothers or my sisters... no one... so don't try tomorrow, Bree and Elizabeth... :)

Yes, I know... falling into the world of Bleah Briann... owl city+adam young=the most amazingest band in the world!!!


Please, do not get onto me. I still love all the other awesome bands such as The 77's, Relient K, TobyMac (I once knew Trudog, we had the same babyshower  :P ), Group 1 Crew, Matthew West, Tenth Avenue North... etc. But I have to say right now that Owl City has to be my all-time favorite, with Matthew West, Tenth Avenue North, and Relient K close, snipping at Owl City's frigid edges.

I fell... into a crystal covered cave... a cave called Owl City, where Bleah Briann and others cram into the music-filled hole in the ground.

[my novel... and on another note...]

Sorry for not posting in a while. As most of you know, my cousin, Boston-Carter died two on January 23, 2011, and I have been in most emotion as of the last couple weeks.


Aside that, some of you know of the working on my first novel, Friends, Far Away, and an Emerald Orb, and I am here to give you a little update on the coming of that.

Word Count: remins unknown as of the moment (the computer I am typing it up on won't restart!)

Chapter Count: just finished chapter 3  :)


Well, my mom and I are just about to sit in her cozy bed together alone and watch Full House, what a classic! So I really need to go  :)

Dear fellow bloggers, this is a rather sad reading today... so be prepared for a little emotion...

My cousin, Carter Clark had a major heart defect, and he was going to need multiple surgeries... his poor old heart just couldn't stand any more... and yesterday, January 23, 2011, at 9:44am, he went to live with Jesus. 

Please be praying for my family and Carter's parents and two sisters, Addyson and Ava. 

We are all devastated and we would appreciate any prayers that come to mind, even just a word.

God created Justin Bieber just like He created you, fearfully and wonderfully. 
He loves them just like He loves you, undying and everlasting (I know, I am redundant sometimes...).
He cares for them just like He cares for you, carefully and willingly.

If you think about it, Justin is just a normal teenager with a passion to sing and be himself. And if you really think about it, he really is an extremely talented kid with a mom and a dad, who are divorced and living seperatly.

Justin is just like you and me, he loves God and to be honest, is just a normal teenager, interested in girls and living life to the fullest- fun and extreme.

One time, he even said, "I have never been kissed... so sometimes before bed I practice on my teddy bear..." 

Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those people who are like OH MY GOSH! IT'S JUSTIN BIEBER. In fact, when I see him I think, Wow! He is really talented and in some ways kind of cool. God loves him and thats all that matters...

How could you hate him when he was created just like you and me?

I mean, he laughs, he cries, he goes through hard times, he has good times.

He has friends, he has enemies, he even gets hurt sometimes...

I hope through reading this post that you will understand that God loves the people that we don't love sometimes. Some people get a little more than others, like a recording contract and a bunch of people who adore you. But to be honest, I love Justin Bieber because God loves him and he is just a kid that does what he loves to do  :)
